My Story
I'm Roger. I've always been the type who needs to understand how something works before I'll trust it. And once I understand it, I usually want to make it work better.
Tech wasn't a calling. It was curiosity. I liked taking complicated systems apart and putting them back together so other people didn't have to.
That curiosity pulled me into enterprise tech: Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Citrix. The boring-but-critical stuff that runs most companies. Later I moved into business systems like Salesforce and Visma. That's where I learned the real lesson: a technically perfect solution still fails if nobody asked the business what it actually needed.
When AI started reshaping how companies work, it didn't feel like a leap. It felt like the next thing to learn. The more I used it, the clearer it got: AI doesn't replace people, it removes the work nobody wanted to be doing in the first place. I went deeper — earned a Google AI Professional certification and a Generative AI certification from Outskill (Growth School) — because I wanted to advise on this stuff properly, not just repeat headlines.
That's why I started AgerTechAI Consulting AS. Most companies I talk to don't need more AI hype. They need someone honest about what these tools can and can't do, and willing to help pick the few things worth actually building.
My approach is simple. Listen first. Figure out the real problem before reaching for a tool. Then build something practical, with no jargon and no frameworks dressed up to look profound.
Twenty years in the automotive industry, leading teams and dealing with customers, drilled one thing into me: most of the time, things should just be simpler and faster. Most of the time, they could be.
If that's what you're after, get in touch.
